back from so*cal..

what a great weekend i had. i came home, refreshed and relaxed. so glad i got to spend time with my friends and met new folks at anne’s. there’s nothing more like kickin’ it and having some amiga stimulation. i feel stripped from any kind of friend stimulation here in the bay area since most of my friends live outside of norcal.

on friday, i got fitted for measurements for the bridesmaid dress for anne’s wedding at the end of september. ran errands with her. i had sushi, appetizers, kirin and sake at ra sushi in chino hills with rob, anne and gina. went on a cupcake binge at dolcissimo. mmm red velvet. went back home and chilled while the guys helped anne set up the backyard.

it was so hot in socal. temperatures reached in the 90s this past weekend and i loved every minute of it. i flew down to attend my girlfriend’s engagement party at her house. she had a mexican siesta, hired a taco cart and asked her friend to dj. we had a backyard boogie. i helped out and made guacamole and mango salsa. met tons of anne’s friends and family. riding in the back of joe’s car with two dozen balloons with steff and anne..so funny. making margaritas. i always had a drink in my hand..only had three tacos. they were so bomb. on top car bar sessions at the end of the night, i felt pretty good.

on sunday, my friend james picked me up at anne’s and we noshed on appetizers and i drank two snakebites at yard house in chino hills. lushy. went to corona and kicked it before dropping me off at the airport.

i am blessed with a few good friends and love them to death. thanks for making my trip memorable. til’ the next *buy ticket now* trip…
